What are master formulas?
The magistral formula allows the preparation of a drug by or under the direction of a pharmacist, in order to expressly fulfill a detailed medical prescription of the active ingredients it contains. All according to the norms of correct elaboration and quality control established for this purpose, dispensing in the office or pharmacy and with the due information to the user according to the terms established in the national formulary.
To whom is the master formula addressed?
The magistral formula is aimed at those people who, in some circumstances and clinical situations, do not have the industrialized drug they need.
